I was born and raised in Durban, South Africa, but Mauritius has been in my heart since childhood. Every year without fail, my family would return to this island — my parents' birthplace, the place where they fell in love and married — and every year I fell a little more in love with it myself. The light, the warmth, the people, the colours of the lagoon. It never left me.

I began my photography career in Durban in 2001, spending 20 years photographing weddings, families, newborns, maternity, engagements, schools, portraits and everything in between. People and their emotions have always been my subject — not just the moments themselves, but the feeling behind them. In October 2021, I finally made the move permanent, returning to the island I'd always considered home. As a dual South African and Mauritian citizen, fluent in both English and French, I feel deeply connected to this place and its people.

Since settling in Mauritius I've had the privilege of photographing couples and families from across the world who choose this paradise for their most important moments. I work with a small number of clients each year to ensure every session receives my complete attention and creative energy. This is not a factory — every image is a collaboration, and every emotion captured is real.
